YAHOO AT RECORD LOW!
Reports show that Yahoo searches in the UK are down from this time last years.
Previously in January 2008 Yahoo search in the UK had an 11% share overall against the latest reports of just over 8%.
So do people really use Yahoo?
Although a lot of marketing bods will try and tell you Yahoo (UK) still holds about 30% of online searches the facts simply do not show that.
Google has become a way of life for over 88% of all online internet users in the UK & Ireland and it doesn't look like this trend is set to change anytime soon.
If you're approached by any online marketing agencies to advertise on Yahoo or some of the smaller search engines ask yourself - "Where does it really matter for my business to be found?"
